Introduction

Celecoxib is a new generation of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic. It inhibits prostaglandin production by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) to achieve anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Function

For the treatment of arthritis, it has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, alleviating the symptoms and signs of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis

Adverse reactions

There are few gastrointestinal reactions and little effect on kidney function and platelets.
